Quick Update..x

Just a little ramble tonight.....

I've been organising all my makeup and skincare today which was actually quite fun as io found lots of stuff that i hadn't used in ages :)

I threw out all my MAC paper packaging which i should have done ages ago but i'm a hoarder so i tend to keep things lol

And i actually added up all my containers which i can use for Back2MAC and i have 12!!!!

Which means that i can get Cute-Ster lippy too from HK :D

I actually can't wait for HK now, i've known about it for so long and the US got it ages ago so i'm really excited lol

I'd love to hear what you guys got from HK or what you're gonna get....

Be sure to leave me some comments. :)

MAC Hello Kitty Collection Wishlist Updated..x

So I've been having a think about what I'm going to get from the new MAC Hello Kitty Collection.

I overspent on what i had drafted up originally for all the upcoming collections that i knew about as i got two MSFs from the BBR collection as Redhead was just too beautiful to pass on and Cremeteam came out earlier than I'd expected so that reduced my budget also.

I also ran out of primer which i didn't count on and went to the CCO at Portsmouth so my pocket is feeling a little empty for Hello Kitty.

Taking the amount of cash i will have into consideration and also what i now know i can get cheaper at my CCO I've drafted up a new wish list just for Hello Kitty but it will probably change as I'm very indecisive lol.

So here it is, note that i didn't take any of the photos myself they're all from Ebay as you can see the true colours. Feel free to give me your opinions and if you have any recommendations please leave a comment :)

Mimmy Lipglass:
This is one of the only products which i knew that i wanted right from the very first promo pictures. It's such a gorgeous colour and one that i would wear all the time as i don't really bother too much with my lips and tend to focus on my eyes much more.

Nice Kitty Lipglass:
I loved this lipglass in the promo pics but decided it was a little too bright for me but then when i saw lip swatches i decided that it it was just too nice to pass on. I'm hoping that the colour won't be as intense on my lips as it is in the tube but if it is i can always tone it down by pairing it with another gloss.

Strayin' Lipstick:
When i saw the promo pics this colour didn't really stand out for me as it looked really bright and i was going to get Cutester instead but i saw some lip swatches online and decided that Cutester was just too neutral and this colour is beautiful! I'll probably tone it down a little with some neutral gloss though to make it more wearable. I'm actually going to trade in my six containers for Back To MAC for this lipstick so it's going to be free anyways lol.

Pink Fish Tinted Lip Conditioner (TLC):
I was going to completely pass on the TLCs as i don't really like using my fingers to apply lip stuff as it can get all messy and i thought that it wouldn't be very pigmented but I've seen swatches and reviews which say that the TLCs are actually the most pigmented lip product of the whole collection. After reading the reviews, seeing swatches and then seeing the packaging which is just the cutest thing ever i was completely sold lol. I've decided to get Pink Fish instead of Popster as it's more of a baby pink and so more me, Popster was a little too bright.

Tahitian Sand/Pretty Baby Beauty Powder:
I took one look at the packaging and that was it! I'm definitely getting one of these but only one. The only thing is, i can't decide what shade as they're both so pretty. I'm leaning more towards Pretty Baby because i love pink so much but i thought that maybe Tahitian Sand might mix up some of the colours i use a bit more. The more i look the more I'm sold on pretty baby :)

Fun and Games Beauty Powder Blush:
Okay so this is the one part of the collection which I'm completely undecided about. I was originally gonna get Tippy blush but I've seen some reviews online which say it's exactly like Fashion Frenzy from the Fafi collection and Pink Swoon, i have both of those so I'm gonna pass.
Fun and Games isn't exactly a completely individual shade, i mean i could find dupes everywhere but the packaging is so cute! I keep telling myself to resist but if i have some spare cash it will most probably go on this.
I was going to get the brush collection for sure but I've had a revelation and decided against it. I have the face brush set from the Heirlooms collection and the eye set from Adoring Charmaine and they are pretty good brushes if you're not that into makeup. Recently they've all been molting...a lot and it's so annoying when you're trying to get your makeup right and you have lodes of big black hairs all over your face! Going to my CCO i saw that the brushes were about £10 cheaper than normal so instead of wasting my money on a new set of SE brushes I'm gonna save up for the full sized ones as they're much better, even though the Hello Kitty brush holder is just the cutest thing ever lol! :)

What I'm Using Right Now..x

Saw this on lollipop26's blog and i'm bored so i decided to do it :)

Hair

Shampoo: Anything that's in the bathroom lol, right now it's Pantene's Brunette Expressions
Conditioner: I'm using my mum's Aveda one atm
Styling products: Tigi Catwalk Fashionista Spritz and shine heat safe styler - i use it just before im gonna straighten my hair, it smells yummy :)

L'Oreal Studio Hot Straight Thermo-Straightening Cream - I put this on the lower parts of my hair when it's damp and then blowdry my hair straight with my GHD brush, it keeps my hair straighter for longer
Tigi Catwalk Camera Ready Shiner and Defrizzer - I use this sometimes if my hair needs a little pick me up, it helps with shine

L'Oreal Elnett Hairspray in Diamond Hold - The legend that is Elnett, the only thing is that my nan has always used it so everytime i smell it i can't help thinking that i smell like my nan lol :P
Hair mask: Philip Kingsley Hair Elasticiser - my aunt buys alot of stuff on QVC and she got a sample of it so sent it down to me and it's okay but a little expensive to use on a regular basis. My hair deffinatly felt alot softer and the ends of my hair looked healthier.

BodyShower gel: Soap & Glory's Clean On Me - This stuff smells soooo yummy! My mum got it in a giftset in the Boots sale after xmas and we are sharing it as it's in the bathroom. Deffinatly getting some more when it runs out :)

Body moisturiser: Diesel Fuel For Life Unlimited Body Lotion - I don't really use body moisuriser much but this one smells good

Fake tan: I don't use fake tan in the winter, i'll start when the weather gets warmer....if it ever does!

FaceCleanser: Garnier Pure 3 in 1 - I use it as a scrub or wash everyday in the bath or shower and as a mask once a week

Eye makeup remover: Simple Conditioning Eye Make-Up Remover - It's oil free, colour free and perfume free so basically there's nothing for me to react to. I have really sensitive eyes and this is one of only two products that work for me, the other is the dior remover but it's really expensive and the simple one's cheap so i figured why waste my money.

MakeupPrimer: MAC Prep + Prime SPF 50 - Not as good as the normal one, i got tricked into buying it by the MA but it does have SPF 50 so that's better.
Foundation: MAC Face and Body Foundation in N1 - Got this last year and there's still 2/3 left. I thought it was pricey when i bought it but it's lasted that long so money well spent i guess.

Foundation brush: MAC 190SE - I soooo need a new full size one of these! My SE from the 2007 keep molting everytime i use it. The SE brushes aren't as good quality but they're good for when you're just starting out, like i was. I find that i can't use my hands as the foundation i use is too runny so a brush is essential.

Concealer: I don't really need concealer atm and never really have as if i get a spot, i'll just get one huge one and there's no covering it up lol. I just let it mend itself instead of making it worse. If i ever do need concealer i use Playboy Concealer in Fair, avaliable from Superdrug.
Powder: MAC MSF Natural in Medium - I have nearly used all this but i got it last year so it's lasted a fair amount of time cnsidering how much i use it. I tend to put it over foundation or if i'm having a lazy day i'll wear it on it's own and it looks okay.
Blusher: ATM i'm addicted to using my new one, Pink Swoon to get a nice warm glow :)
Photobucket
Bronzer: I don't really use bronzer, if i do i use MAC's Harmony Blush with a little MSF in New Vegas from the McQueen Collection as i have really pale skin.

Highlighter: I use my other new blush, Trace Gold.
Photobucket
Eyeshadow base: MAC's Prep + Prime Eye for dramatic eyes or Rubenesque Paintpot for smokey eyes
Eyeshadows: Right now i am using a nice heavy smokey eye which is MAC's Brule as a highligh, Cork all over and Romp in the crease and corner.

Eyeliner: For dramatic eyes, MAC's Eye Khol in Smoulder and for smokey eye Smashbox's Runway Fusion Cream Liner, the brown one.

Eyelash curler: My lashes are too long that i can't curl them, they look shorter lol. My lashes have a natural curl anyways.
Eyelash base: I don't use one as it clumps my mascara.
Mascara: I have been using TOVA which my aunt gave me as my everyday mascara but it's starting to clump so in the bin that goes. I use Clarins Wonder Length for a more natural look and MAC Plushlash for the falsies effect.

Lipstick: I've been using the very last bit of my MAC for Emanuel Ungaro lippy in Pure Rose so that i can include it in back to MAC and get a free lippy from Hello Kitty. I'm gonna buy the dupe of Pure Rose soon which i was told by the MA is Plink.
Lipgloss: My new Cremesheen Glass from MAC in Petite Indulgence, it goes everywhere with me.

Photobucket
Nail colour: OPI Elephantastic Pink or Barry M's dark navy, 292 i think.

MAC CCO Haul..x

So today i went to Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth with my parents and it was a really long journey...1 1/2 hours :(

Gunwharf is a huge outlet place with all designer and perfume outlets etc

I asked my mum to take me cos i heard that there was a really good cosmetics outlet that sells MAC there, and guess what?.......There is!

It's quite a small store but they have alot of stuff from old collections and some stuff from the perm line but all at discount prices!

I was really shocked as they had some PRO products so that saved me some money plus a trip into central london :)

There was so much stuff that i wanted but i'm saving up for Hello Kitty so i'm being good at the minute but honestly i was like a kid in a candy store

The brushes were all really discounted but the MA told me that they had alot of brushes as MAC always overstock so next time i go i'm gonna buy some.

It was really good knowing what they have cos if not i'd be wasting so much money on brushes!

We liked it so much that we decided to make it a regular thing going down there maybe once a month or something so expect many more hauls to come!

I meant to get a corn shadestick which i picked up and then put down for a second but totaly forgot to pick it up again so i'm gutted at that cos it's really pretty.

Anyways onto what i got....

Two blushes which are actually on the perm line and i'd be eyeing them for a while so they were much cheaper.
They had a third off and were £10.27 instead of the usual £14.68 which i was really happy about, these were probably the best deal i got.
Pink Swoon is a sweet bright pink colour but isn't that hightly pigmented. It can be compared to Fashion Frenzy from the Fafi collection and also Tippy from the upcoming Hello Kitty collection so i've crossed tippy off my list now.
Here's a photo to compare it with Fashion Frenzy:

Trace Gold is kind of like Harmony but not as dark and with lots of sparkle. It applies like an MSF and you have to have a light hand.

A MAC Pro refill palette!!!! OMG i'm so happy about this cos i've been wanting one for ages but £10 did seem alot, anyways i got it for £7.34 which i know isn't much difference but i had to grab it as they also had some refills cheap. I depotted all my MAC shadows which was horrible and some of them are looking a bit worse for wear but now, unless they're from collections, i'll just but refills. The other good thing is....now i have 8 more back to MAC containers and i can get myself a lipstick from Hello Kitty for free!

So to go with my new palette i had to get some refills.....

I got Brule and Cork which i'd been eyeing. They were actually in the sample palette on display and so i couldn't tell what the colours were called so i picked the ones that looked nicest and they turned out to be the ones i wanted :) The refills were £5.13 each but i'm not sure how much they are normally so i don't know how much i saved.

So all in all i had a really lovely time and got nearly all the stuff i wanted and i'll be going back soon. I also got a new coat from the French Connection Outlet. It was all last season's stock but it was all so dirt cheap! My coat was £39 from £140! Dead chuffed with it lol :)
